Sensoji Temple or it pronounce in Mandarin (qian cao si - 浅草寺) is the oldest temple in Tokyo. According to the info from "Tokyo Tourism Guide", it was built in year of 628. The main famous spot is the Kaminarimon gate (雷门) which is located at the main road of Kaminarimon Dori (Kaminarimon Street) where it has a giant lantern hangs on the entrance leading to the Sensoji.

Sensoji Temple are open 24/7 but the main hall are only open from 6:00 to 17:00. For the shops along the Nakamise Street only start opening at 8:00 to 18:00 but most of the stores will start closing at 17:00.

Nakamise street is a shopping street which along from the Kaminarimon Gate to the main Hozomon Gate. It has over 200m and about 90 stores along the shopping street. The main items that you can get here are the local traditional snack like the Ningyoyaki (人形烧) or the souvenir such the folding fan, Lucky cat (招财猫) and the yukata (japanese traditional wearing).

Beyond the Hozomon Gate is the main hall and the 5 storied Pagoda. Beside that, both side of the path along to the main hall there are also have the temple lucky charm selling store you can buy it as a souvenir for your friend or family to bring them luck and health. On the other hand, along the way there also have the divination (卜签) for you to get your fortune telling.
