Temples of Bangkok - Part 3 (Grand Palace)

Is time to start the journey of Bangkok temples. The first temple we were went was the Bangkok Palace which it also called Grand Palace. We took ride a Bangkok Town taxi roughly 30 mint drive and her we are - The Grand Palace.

When we was feeling very excited, there is a man that appear no where and tell us the palace is "CLOSE" today due to the King having some event inside and he keep on saying he is the "police" of the palace to make us believe him. We really felt disappointed after we heard the news from him, we came so far just wish to see the inner side of the palace but it closed.

He is so "kind" that he said he want to show us to another tourist attraction which is nearby and we under no other choice, we just follow him to have a look on what he want to recommend to us.

Bangkok really still having flood on that time 

After go through all this flood market and he lead us to a Pier that offering the boat package tour from Grand Palace to China Town. But on this particular flooding time we really scare to take boat as our ride. By the way, 200baht per person (if I'm not mistaken) but on the other side of the tourist counter I saw the official small counter that selling the boat ticket only cost 5 bath per ticket and both are taking the same boat like this

But my friend said that maybe we can go back and have another try for the Grand Palace. So we walk back to it and ask the official Palace guard and he tell us that the palace really close to that day but you still can enter through the other entrance which only can go into the Palace's temple. How lucky we are!

Once we get to the entrance that we only knew we need to have a proper attired, which NO SHORT PANTS AND SINGLETS. But there are pants and scarf renting available at the entrance. Each item are cost us 50 bath.

Ok after so many things had happened, finally we thought we can enter the temple already. But end up, we still need to wait for some event is happening in the temple too!

Waiting......

It was so many thing that really tested our patient to get into the palace temple. On the point of view, the god are testing our patient. So how about yours? patient enough? wait for tomorrow blog for more.....
