Trip to Hong Kong -Day 3

Mido Cafe, Temple Street

Mido cafe is the local style cafe which located on the temple street near Yau Ma Tei MTR station. They are one of the famous cafe around the neighbourhood 



The design of this cafe is a very typical Hong Kong "cha chan sat" (means local restaurant) that having the feel of 80's Hong Kong interior design and they have 2 floor for customer to dine in.

At here, they offer the various type of food such as noodles, toast, different kind of rice and their price are quite reasonable compared to the restaurant surrounding.

other menus for the food and the minimum spending here was HKD20

there is a lots more varieties choice of noodles and local cruisin for you to choose from.

Tian Tan Buddha, Lantau Island

Tian Tan Buddha is a tourist hot spot that you must go when you visit Hong Kong. If you have your own free & easy trip in HK, is very easy to visit here by taking MTR to Tung Chung station then transit with the Cable car nearby or else you may take the bus from the bus station near Tung Chung station. It take you 25 mins for cable car and 45 mins if you take bus



cable car station but unfortunately the day we went the cable car is under maintenance, so we proceed to take bus to go up to the hill

Finally, here we are at the temple.

Before claiming up to the ladder, we decided to have some snack first

Is the time to claim up to the top of the temple.



we are consider very lucky on that day cause the whole morning the whole temple is full of fog when we reach and this big buddha only appear for few second when we reached the top.

after came down from the top, we go and have the most famous Tau Fu Fa. Why it is so famous? Because it made with yellow bean and the mountain water from Lantau Island. Due to the water here are so clean and full of the mineral, it make the Tau Fu Fa taste so sweet and silky smooth too.

There are 2 taste that you may try:
with ginger soup (if you like ginger taste) or 

you may had it with homemade sugar

Trip to Hong Kong -Day 2

Having a early sport is a great start for a day. Same with today as well, we went to the swimming pool to enjoy the great view and the cool water in the pool.

Trip to Macau - Day 2

The Pools of Venetian 

Waking up on the early morning, to enjoy the morning swim. Anyone want to join? The Venetian Macao have not only 1 beautiful pool they have 4 different types of pool,  here are the 2 of the interesting design pool one of it with the hot water..

Food Court - The Venetian Macao

After one hour swim my stomach are felt so empty and is the time for the nice tasty breakfast. we went to the food court which located inside the Venetian Macao to get our breakfast. This is what we had...

The Venetian Macao Shopping Mall

Before check-in into the second hotel that we had booked, we walk around the and have some photo session around the shopping mall. Lets look around the nice scene around the mall.

is either you can use your leg to walk around the mall or you may choose to take this wonderful "singing" boat to travel you around. You really can hear the nice song with the great voices from them.

Lord Stow's bakery & cafe

In the middle of the mall, there is a very famous portuguese tart available in here - Lord Stow bakery & cafe. In this bakery cafe they have the highly recommended portuguese tart that crispy at the outside and tasty at the inside. It only cost you 10HKD each.





The House of Dancing Water





The house of dancing water which located in "City of Dream" building that combination of Grand Hyatt, Hard Rock Hotel, Shopping and Casino as per usual. As per the name mentioned, its a musical dance performance on the water. I really got impressed of the whole performance not only the dancing part but also the mechanism that changes the stage into different scenes. Remember to purchase your ticket online before you were there to avoid disappointment and long que too. OK I wont review too much here for the show just go and book the ticket and watch it yourselves and you will get impress!

The Grand Hyatt Hotel, Macau




In order to experience the Macao, we also tried the 5 star international hotel at Macau - The Grand Hyatt Hotel. While waiting to check in, we enjoy our cup of Mocha at the hotel lobby lounge.

Seng Cheong Restaurant, Taipa Village





We had chose this restaurant for our dinner of the night with their famous porridge. Their signature dish would be the water crab porridge " Sui Hai Chuk" 水蟹粥  and there are some Hong Kong artist also purposely drop by for this porridge.

and they have other side dishes also.

after or before your meal, there are a lot of souvenir & cookies stores around for you to shop around.

That is the end of my last night in Macau..
